I’m Mark Hensley with AARP NC - Triad Region. As the incoming President of TRLA, I am thrilled to watch OUR association grow and continue to get stronger. It is my honor to carry the momentum of the last year with the leadership team for TRLA. My greatest passion is for Livable and Age-Friendly Communities. If you don’t know what that is, come ask me.
Shelby Kline,
Health Team Advantage
2024-2026 Vice President
Shelby Kline is a Community Outreach Supervisor with HealthTeam Advantage, a Medicare Advantage Plan in the state of North Carolina. She has served older adults in the senior care industry for over 20 years and has an MS in Therapeutic Recreation. In addition to being a mom and a TRLA board member, Shelby serves on the board of the Triad Honor Flight--an organization for veterans and a cause near and dear to her heart.
Teresa Cooper,
Authoracare
2024-2026 Treasurer
Teresa Cooper is a former educator and social worker. After more than 20 years teaching in the elementary school setting, Teresa pursued a Masters degree in Human Services. She has worked in the field of Healthcare for more than 10 years. She began her career in the long term care setting before moving into home health and hospice. She is a Community Liaison for Authoracare Collective. She is also a PAC certified dementia coach as well as a certified virtual dementia tour trainer. She's been with her husband Mark for 43 years and has one grown son.
Abigail Hedgecock,
Always Best Care
2024-2026 Secretary
Abigail serves as the Director of Community Relations for Always Best Care Senior Services. She joins TRLA as secretary and looks forward to bringing her passion for people and community into this role. As an individual new to the aging profession, TRLA has served as a tremendous aid in connecting her to other like-minded professionals. She looks forward to extending the benefits of TRLA that she herself has experienced to new and current members.
Bruce McReynolds,

2021-2023 Past President
I have been a member of the Triad Retirement Living Association for over 10 years. As a small business owner, who at the time was new to the industry, I can honestly say that it was only because of the professional relationships developed with other members that I was able to grow my business. The association membership represents some of the best senior service providers in the industry.
