The Confident Caregiver Symposium
The Confident Caregiver Symposium is a 4-part series focused on the middle stage of disease progression: What is happening in my loved one’s brain and body? What changes can I expect and how can I balance safety at home and assuring autonomy for my loved one? What are some of the communication, behavior, and intimacy changes I can expect and how can I cope? We will also have a panel of caregivers sharing their personal experiences and insights. This Symposium may be particularly beneficial for those experiencing progression of the disease or in the middle stages. The general public is invited to attend.
