Join us to learn about movement that not only strengthens your body but also your mind, stretching techniques that increase your range of motion and joint mobility, simple breathing/mediation techniques that can help lung capacity and ease anxiety and self-massage techniques for feet, hands and neck that will leave you feeling better overall.
This three-part series will include simple movement activities, in chairs or standing, designed from creative movement techniques and improvisation with the purpose of encouraging self-expression, playfulness and overall well-being. As a result of these movement activities, participants may experience better balance, more range of motion, mobility, mental clarity and focus. Take home simple activities to incorporate into your own wellness routine or share with friends. Each class will end with refreshments and the opportunity to socialize and ask questions.
A fun and inspiring group activity that allows for individual expression through movement and music! Class intended for older adults of all abilities and/or their caregivers. Light refreshments will be provided.
