Valued Professional Friend:
Foremost, we want to say thank you for being there for us – in meetings, prioritizing the health and well-being of our residents and associates, and simply for being you. Therefore, we are wishing you a safe, happy, and healthy holiday!
Also, we are sending a call for help in spreading the word about our final Farmer’s Market of 2021. In addition to having locally canned foods, honey, veggies, jewelry (and so much more) for sale, we will be supporting (and promoting) two organizations that are a facet of what makes the Triad so special.
This market is a collection site for donations for Backpack Beginnings – a non-profit that seeks to remove the barrier of food insecurity in school-aged youth.
To learn more about Backpack Beginnings, feel free to visit their website at: https://backpackbeginnings.org/
Below, is a list of items they need:
- Hygiene Supplies – shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant etc.
- Food Supplies – low sodium canned goods, dried pastas and rice, oatmeal, granola bars etc.
- Classroom Supplies – pencils, notebooks, crayons, notebooks etc.
Additionally, we are sending a note of appreciation to Bob’s Closet at Replacements, Ltd. for assisting us with an upcoming event. Bob’s Closet was started by Replacements Ltd. founder and CEO Bob Page in 2016 as a project of the Triad Friends nonprofit organization. Over the last five years, Bob’s Closet has partnered with 30 other nonprofits throughout the Triad to provide clothing to low-income families and individuals at no cost. If you know anyone struggling to find clothes, especially with winter around the corner, reach out to the folks at Bob’s Closet (by calling over to Replacements, Ltd.).
Thanks, again, for being a friend and partner. I’m attaching a flyer about the upcoming market. We hope to see you there!
PS – It will be outdoors, and socially distanced.
