The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) seeks a committed public servant with an understanding of the aging process and the systems associated with serving the elderly. Qualified candidate will assist with:

  • monitoring of programmatic and fiscal expenditures incurred by aging service providers
  • training service providers in financial and computer operations
  • preparing financial reports,
  • reporting and analyzing data using the data management system,
  • contract management,
  • quality assurance reviews

The Aging Systems Specialist works simultaneously in the programmatic, fiscal, and planning functions of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA). Multi-tasking and working with others are mandatory for this position. Clear communication with PTRC AAA team members, state and local officials, service providers, community agencies, organizations, businesses, older adults and their families, is key to the successful implementation and development of the programs and services administered by the PTRC Area Agency on Aging. This position will work with PTRC staff, including continuous coordination with the Aging Systems Coordinator and the Aging MIS Specialist, under the supervision of the Community Resource Specialist Supervisor. This role is primarily evaluated by attainment of programmatic goals set forth in the PTRC AAA Plan. Job posting will remain open until filled.
