CAREGIVER APPRECIATION EVENT

Since 2006, The Triad Retirement Living Association has recognized the largely unheralded work of dedicated caregivers with the Elder Caregiver of the Year Award.  This is TRLA's signature event designed to connect formal and informal caregivers to resources, respite, and a community of gratitude.

Nominees have included family members, volunteers at hospitals or hospice organizations, employees of independent living retirement communities, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, home care agencies or adult daycare centers.  Any caregiver who has direct contact with seniors in need of assistance, in any setting where they provide care, is eligible for this award.
